Solar Crew
Tracker Installs, Equipment Drops, Remote Sites
Renewable energy projects sit on remote sites with soft pad conditions and limited access. Our 18 to 40 ton boom trucks bring crane mats for soft ground and the rigging to handle solar trackers, inverter sets, and battery storage cabinets. We work the install schedule on the EPC's window.
Solar tracker and inverter installs.
Battery storage and ancillary equipment drops.
Remote site logistics with crane mats for soft ground.

Trackers, Inverters, Battery Storage
Whether the project is a solar farm, a behind the meter battery storage install, or an EPC equipment drop, the boom truck deploys to the remote site with the right ground bearing setup. NCCCO operators on every dispatch.
Two services: operated crane work and rigging. Dispatched from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette - NCCCO certified operators, built around the Gulf Coast schedule.
Seven National Crane boom trucks from 18 to 40 tons. The right truck dispatched for the lift, every time, with NCCCO certified operators on board.
Three yards covering the Gulf Coast: New Orleans and the surrounding metro, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and Southeast Texas. Most jobs are within two hours of a yard.
How Heave-Ho Runs Renewable Energy Work
Four steps from the first call to the cleared site. Same approach on every renewable energy dispatch from three yards.
Confirm The Lift Plan
Send the equipment specs, the site address, the access road condition, and the EPC install window. We confirm the right boom truck and outrigger placement, plus crane mats if the pad is soft, before scheduling the dispatch.
Roll The Truck
Boom truck arrives inside your install window. Outriggers down on crane mats if needed, ground bearing checked, rigging staged with your EPC or solar crew. No surprises on site.
Make The Lift
NCCCO operator runs the lift from the truck. Tracker, inverter, or battery cabinet set in the install position. EPC crew handles the wiring and commissioning.
Clear The Site
Outriggers up, truck out, access path clear. Lift plan documented, COI confirmed, invoice follows the work.

Renewable Energy Crane Questions
Common questions about boom truck lifts for solar and renewable energy projects on the Gulf Coast.
Yes. Most solar projects sit on soft or sandy pad conditions. We bring crane mats sized to the truck and the load when the ground needs the load spread. Tell us the pad conditions and the access road when you quote so we plan the right ground bearing setup.
Yes. Solar tracker pieces, inverter cabinets, transformer support, and battery storage cabinets are routine for our 18 to 40 ton boom trucks. Send the equipment weight and dimensions and we confirm the right truck for the lift.
Yes. Renewable energy projects run on the EPC's install schedule, not ours. Tell us the install day and time and we line up the boom truck and any rigging support to fit. We confirm the dispatch the day before.
Most remote solar sites have unpaved access roads and limited turn around space. We pre check the access path and confirm the boom truck can make the site safely. For tight access sites, we may stage a smaller boom truck.
We carry general liability and commercial auto coverage with limits sized for renewable energy EPC and contractor work. We name your company as additional insured on a per job basis at no extra cost. COI requests come back the same business day.
