Quick To The Rooftop, On Schedule

Most HVAC jobs need a crane that gets in quick, sets up tight, and gets out fast. Our 18 to 40 ton boom trucks deploy in minutes, fit through alley access, and reach most commercial rooftops without lane closures. We coordinate with the mechanical contractor's schedule and the building's downtime window before the truck rolls.

Rooftop drops in setup windows from 30 minutes to two hours.

Mechanical room placements with alley or behind building access.

Side unit condenser swaps for residential and commercial properties.

Mechanical Room Access, Rooftop Drops, Side Unit Swaps

Whether you are setting a single chiller or staging a full HVAC replacement, the boom truck deploys fast and clears the site clean. NCCCO operators handle the lift, your mechanical crew handles the install.

Operated Crane And Rigging

Two services: operated crane work and rigging. Dispatched from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette - NCCCO certified operators, built around the Gulf Coast schedule.

Fleet Capacity

Seven National Crane boom trucks from 18 to 40 tons. The right truck dispatched for the lift, every time, with NCCCO certified operators on board.

Areas We Serve

Three yards covering the Gulf Coast: New Orleans and the surrounding metro, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and Southeast Texas. Most jobs are within two hours of a yard.

Process

How Heave-Ho Runs HVAC Work

Four steps from the first call to the cleared site. Same approach on every HVAC dispatch from three yards.

Confirm The Lift Plan

Send the unit weight, the building height, the rooftop access path, and the install window. We confirm the right boom truck and outrigger placement before scheduling the dispatch.

Roll The Truck

Boom truck arrives inside your setup window. Outriggers down, ground bearing checked, rigging staged with your mechanical crew. No surprises on site.

Make The Lift

NCCCO operator runs the lift from the truck. New unit set on the rooftop or behind the building. Old unit pulled and staged for disposal.

Clear The Site

Outriggers up, truck out, access path clear. Lift plan documented, COI confirmed, invoice follows the work.

HVAC Crane Questions

Common questions about boom truck HVAC lifts on the Gulf Coast.

Can you reach my rooftop with a boom truck?

Most commercial rooftops up to four or five stories are within reach of our 40 ton boom trucks at standard offset. Send the building height, the offset (how far from the truck), and any overhead obstructions. We confirm the right truck for the reach before we schedule the dispatch and confirm the day before the lift.

Do you coordinate with our mechanical contractor's schedule?

Yes. HVAC lifts run on the mechanical contractor's window, not ours. Tell us the install day and time and we line up the boom truck, the operator, and any rigging support to fit your crew's setup. We confirm the dispatch window the day before so nobody waits on a truck.

Can you handle residential side unit condenser swaps?

Yes. Most residential side condenser lifts run an hour or two with a smaller boom truck. We pull the old unit, set the new one, and leave the access path clean for the mechanical crew. Standard outrigger pads on every dispatch, crane mats if your driveway or yard needs them.

What about after hours work for occupied facilities?

Yes. We run after hours and weekend dispatch from both yards. Tell us the building's quiet window and we coordinate the lift around it. Most occupied facility work happens nights or weekends to keep the building's day shift uninterrupted, and we plan for it.

What does insurance and COI look like for HVAC jobs?

We carry general liability and commercial auto coverage and name your company as additional insured on a per job basis. Send the COI request with the job details and we'll have it back the same business day. Most general contractors and facility managers find our coverage limits sized for commercial HVAC work.
