Working Waterfront
Dockside Lifts, Vessel Side Staging, Tide Windows
Marine work runs on the tide and the vessel's window, not the contractor's. Our 18 to 40 ton boom trucks work dockside, on bulkheads, and at vessel side staging. We coordinate the dispatch with the tide schedule and the vessel's berth window so the lift runs on water time.
Dockside lifts and bulkhead equipment drops.
Vessel side staging and barge support.
Tide window coordination for the lift schedule.

Dockside, Bulkhead, Vessel Side Lifts
Whether the job is loading a barge, setting equipment on a vessel, or working from a bulkhead, the boom truck deploys to the water side. NCCCO operators with marine site awareness.
Two services: operated crane work and rigging. Dispatched from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette - NCCCO certified operators, built around the Gulf Coast schedule.
Seven National Crane boom trucks from 18 to 40 tons. The right truck dispatched for the lift, every time, with NCCCO certified operators on board.
Three yards covering the Gulf Coast: New Orleans and the surrounding metro, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and Southeast Texas. Most jobs are within two hours of a yard.
How Heave-Ho Runs Marine Work
Four steps from the first call to the cleared site. Same approach on every marine dispatch from three yards.
Confirm The Lift Plan
Send the load specs, the dock address, the tide window, and the vessel berth schedule if applicable. We confirm the right boom truck and outrigger placement before scheduling the dispatch.
Roll The Truck
Boom truck arrives inside your tide and berth window. Outriggers down on the dock or bulkhead, ground bearing checked, rigging staged with your marine crew. No surprises on site.
Make The Lift
NCCCO operator runs the lift from the truck. Equipment set on the vessel, barge, or dockside staging. Marine crew handles the tie down and securing.
Clear The Site
Outriggers up, truck out, dock clear. Lift plan documented, COI confirmed, invoice follows the work.

Marine Crane Questions
Common questions about boom truck lifts for marine and barge work on the Gulf Coast.
Yes. Most public docks, private bulkheads, and working waterfront sites are within reach of our 18 to 40 ton boom trucks at standard offset. Send the dock or bulkhead specs and any height or access restrictions. We confirm the right truck for the lift.
Yes. Marine work runs on the tide, not on our schedule. Tell us the tide start and end and we line up the boom truck and the rigging support inside that window. For multi tide work, we schedule across multiple dispatches.
Yes. Vessel side staging and barge equipment sets are routine. Send the vessel berth schedule, the equipment weight, and the position we're setting to. We confirm the boom truck reach and the lift sequence.
Our boom trucks are inspected regularly and run in Gulf Coast salt air conditions year round. Outriggers and ground bearing get extra attention on bulkheads and soft dock pads. Standard crane mats available for soft ground.
We carry general liability and commercial auto coverage with limits sized for marine contractor work. We name your company as additional insured on a per job basis at no extra cost. COI requests come back the same business day.
